Nevis lies in the Lesser Antilles, in the undiscovered Eastern Caribbean.
Comprised mainly of agricultural lands, golden sand beaches, and mountain rain forests,
its thirty-six square miles of countryside are dotted with historic villages--Cotton Ground,
Gingerland, and Brick Kiln--which, with the ruins of seventeenth- and eighteenth-century forts and
sugar plantations, reflect the island's rich past. The island's 10,000 residents take great pride in
their beautiful island, and you will find Nevisians to be welcoming and gracious.
